michael pope leads sketch session at crystal bridges.

Tonight at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, modus studio associate Michael Pope is leading an evening of sketching on the museum grounds. In this hour-long class, guests will explore architectural sketching, focusing on gestural, technical, and perspective drawing, and will explore how each of these can be used to tell a different story of the same subject.

Michael is an accomplished architectural sketch artist. His sketch titled "Weekend Cabin" was selected as Runner Up in Architectural Record's 2020 Cocktail Napkin Sketch Contest. His sketch titled "Hwange Bush Tower" was also selected as Runner Up in 2018.

All skill levels are welcome to the event, and a variety of drawing materials will be provided. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks. Tickets are $10, or $5 for members.
