Leslie Orozco

Marketing Coordinator + Studio Facilitator

Leslie grew up in the small town of Rogers, nestled in Northwest Arkansas, where her creativity and strong sense of community were shaped by her upbringing as a first-generation Mexican-American. Her parents immigrated from Guanajuato, Mexico, and their perseverance and values remain central to her life and work.

She began her academic journey at Northwest Arkansas Community College in Bentonville, earning her Associate’s degree before pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Her background spans graphic design, marketing, photography, and creative coordination—giving her a versatile, hands-on approach to storytelling and studio operations.

Fluent in Spanish and deeply connected to her local community, Leslie is known for her approachable nature, strong collaborative spirit, and natural talent for communication. She joined the Modus team in the fall of 2025. In her role as Marketing Coordinator and Studio Facilitator, Leslie leads efforts to tell the story of Modus through visual content, brand development, and external communications. She curates promotional materials and supports project teams in crafting compelling narratives for proposals, publications, and award submissions. Leslie also supports the internal rhythm of the office—organizing events, managing studio logistics, and helping maintain a creative and inclusive workspace.

Outside the studio, Leslie lives a vibrant, full life rooted in movement, creativity, and family. She is a devoted mother to her two children, Eloise and Aiden, who are her greatest source of motivation and joy. Whether exploring a new trail with them or cheering them on in their own pursuits, Leslie is deeply committed to being present and engaged in their lives.

An outdoor enthusiast, she finds both peace and inspiration in the natural beauty of Arkansas. Hiking the region’s many trails is one of her favorite ways to recharge and stay connected. She’s also passionate about fitness—weightlifting and running are regular parts of her routine, offering both discipline and balance.

Leslie’s life is guided by a deep sense of purpose, cultural pride, and an ongoing curiosity about people and place. She brings this same spirit into her work at Modus Studio, where she helps shape not just how the studio looks from the outside—but how it feels to be a part of it. She believes in the power of design to build bridges—between people, cultures, and ideas—and she’s proud to be part of a team that values sustainability, innovation, and community impact.
